The China Futures Margin Monitoring Center (CFMMC), established on May 18, 2006 to better protect the capital safety of futures investors, has an investor inquiry service system on its website, through which futures investors may check such information as trading and clearing reports to prevent the possible frauds of futures companies. An investor may obtain the user name and password for the inquiry system from his or her futures company when opening the account. He or she can visit the official websites of the CFMMC (www.cfmmc.com for China Telecom users in South China and www.cfmmc.cn for China Netcom users in North China), click the link of “Investor Inquiry” to enter the inquiry system, and click the titles of “Material Maintenance”, “Basic Info”, “Investor Trading and Clearing Report”, “Operation Records”, “Margin Account”, “BBS”, “Terms”, “Operation Guide” to enter the corresponding pages. It is deemed the signing of the bill if an investor has no dissent before the opening of the next day. So investors should pay attention to their own trading bills and protect their lawful rights and interests by inquiring of futures companies in time.
