No, it can’t. The EFP report must be confirmed prior to the confirmation deadline. After the confirmation deadline expires, the EFP report will automatically be set by the System as “beyond the deadline”, and the counterparty cannot confirm the EFP report.
Pursuant to applicable rules, no EFP report can be confirmed after 3:15 p.m. If there is not enough time to confirm an EFP report created near the market close, the EFP report may be confirmed on the following day. The 60-minute period does not include non-continuous auction time, such as after-market hours, pre-market hours and midday break.
