CFFEX provides in-house clearing and acts as the central counterparty (CCP) serving China’s financial futures market. As the buyer for every seller and the seller for every buyer for every trade, CFFEX has set up a comprehensive risk management framework to reduce counter-party risk exposure and maintain the integrity and security of the markets. In January 2019, the CSRC granted CFFEX the status of qualifying CCP (QCCP).
